Until now, getting a lathe cut record made in the UK meant sending your files to London, Bristol or — increasingly — waiting weeks for an overseas service to turn it around. Diz Lathe Cuts is Newcastle's own lathe cutting operation, running a VinylRecorder T560 with a Systemphonics Nebula professional cutting head.
The Nebula reproduces the full frequency range and handles every genre — including the bass-heavy music at the centre of North East culture: dub, drum and bass, grime, techno, jungle.
Orders are taken via a simple online form. Files are assessed before cutting. Turnaround is 7–14 days. Newcastle-based customers can arrange local collection — no postage required.
